The Certificate Programme

Every lay person in Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui can enroll on Ming Hua’s Bachelor of Divinity programme, providing they meet the necessary minimum standards to study at a college or university.

If you do not already meet that standard and want to build up your knowledge before coming to Ming Hua; or if you want to try out some subjects before committing to a longer programme; or if you just want to go to a few lectures that interest you, then the Certificate Programme might be a good option.

This programme offers a wide range of different classes and talks throughout the year, from September to June, from Biblical studies to contemporary religion and society. They are at a lower level than the BD programme, and provide an access into such higher awards, but they still offer a good level of knowledge and understanding in their own right.

The Certificate Programme is offered by Ming Hua under the direction of The Reverend Lam Chun Wai, Vice Principal of the College and Lecturer in Homiletics & Liturgical Studies.
