Programmes can be taken on full-time or part-time basis: depending upon the circumstances and flexibility of the candidate. Classes are available daytime and evenings for working professionals.

Master of Theology
Why study this programme?
Master of Theology provides advanced critical knowledge and skills in the theological disciplines, and their application to contemporary society and church. Students will emerge from the programme with a sound knowledge base, well-honed critical skills, and a facility in theological methodologies. Building on previous theological study, students will achieve a high level of professional development, independent judgement and creative thinking. Students may complete the programme in 1.5 years.

Students should choose 2 subjects from one of the four areas of study, plus one of the following options:
Option 1: THL501 Guided Research + choose 3 other subjects
Option 2: THL514 Hermeneutics + THL650 Theology Masters Coursework Dissertation + choose 1 other subject (this may include THL501)

Bachelor of Theology
Why study this course?
The programme is designed to be theologically and biblically rich, vocationally oriented, ecumenically sensitive and integrated with practical experience, so that students may apply what they learn to the challenges of contemporary life and context. Students will receive a comprehensive foundation in the four key areas of study to stimulate critical thinking and gain a deeper knowledge of their faith; in addition, they will acquire skills for a variety of church-based ministries and other related areas. Students may complete the programme in 3 years.
Programme Outline
Students are required to complete 24 subjects. The students must complete 11 foundation subjects first before proceeding to the 11 core subjects; additionally, students should choose 2 out of 6 electives to complete their degree programme; alternatively, students may choose to complete the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programme offered at Ming Hua to receive credit transfer which is equivalent to 2 electives.
Admission Requirement
Prospective students are expected to have attained at least the equivalent of secondary school education level, with fluency in English. Candidates would require a referee to ascertain their academic capability to be considered for study at the College.
